Swimming boys!

Today we went to a pool party. They had two fun little pools and then a huge slide for big kids. Marcus and Tyson both had a lot of fun. Marcus is sure glad that his friend Anthony is back from his vacation. They both play together so well.

Here's Marcus and Anthony walking home together. Anthony asked Marcus if he could walk home with him and Marcus stretched out his hand for Anthony to hold. They ran all the way home, they really are so fun to watch!

Maryn!

This past week has been wonderful! Brian's sister Maryn came to visit us. We sure love it when family comes to visit, it is a total vacation for our family. Marcus and Tyson even sensed the vacation feeling and slept in almost the whole time she was here - once until 10:00!! They realized how much they needed their sleep to keep up with their fun aunt, they sure love her. We went to Como Zoo and this picture is of Maryn and Marcus at the Monkeys.

Here is Marcus having his first snow cone. I am glad we got a picture of it because he really didn't get to enjoy most of it. I sadly dropped the whole thing just after we bought it. It wasn't a fresh one though, it was hard as a rock and Marcus couldn't really even bite into it - I have to say that so I don't feel as bad.

We went to Como Town and last time Marcus didn't like the swings all that much in fact he kept saying over and over "I very don't like it." This time after they got started, he yelled down at me, "Mom, I'm not crying! I like it!" I think that he suprised himself.

Here are just some really good looking boys! I think they look a little alike. What do you think?

Maryn and Marcus!

We went to story-time at the Library one morning and got a bunch of books. The boys sure liked reading with Maryn.

Enjoyed some good Otter Pops!

We also went to The Mall of America and I didn't get any pictures of that but Marcus and Tyson were able to meet Pablo!! Marcus was sure excited to meet him, he just kept hugging him. In the mall we spotted Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and had to get some caramel apples which we took to Minnehaha Falls and enjoyed them on a bicycle built for five. If you haven't gotten caramel apples from there you really are missing out, they are sooo good.

At Minnehaha Falls they have these fun bikes and since we were on vacation we couldn't leave without renting one of them. They are so much fun but then again I wasn't the one that was peddling. :0)! The boys thought that it was really great, and were excited to wear helmets...at least Marcus was. It was so much fun to have Maryn come. We are going to miss her...oh wait we already do! Just after we dropped her off Marcus was already saying..."I want Maryn." We love you Mar, thanks again for coming!

Utah!

For our family vacation this year we were able to go to Utah to visit our families. Brian was only able to come the last week but we sure had a lot of fun. This picture was on the airplane - I was really nervous about being with both of the boys by myself but it really wasn't too bad.
My best friend Ashley got married and I was able to be at her wedding. It was so amazing we have been best friends since we were 3! She is so beautiful!
We were outside everyday. It was so nice to have a big backyard to play in and the boys loved it. Jackson (my youngest brother) was so sweet to our boys, and as you can see Tyson really loved playing with the hose.
Marcus enjoying the little pool!
Brian's family has a boat and we were able to go out twice with them. The boys loved it. It took a little convincing for Marcus to get in the tube so we sent Tyson out to show him that it really was fun. Here's Marcus trying so hard to be brave! In the end he really loved it and we just had to remind him that "Grandpa won't go fast!" He said this over and over while on the tube it was so cute! Here is Brian's brother Spencer who just got home from his mission. The boys sure loved him and it was so great that we were able to be with him. "Sometimes we call him Spank!"

Here's the golfing boys! Brian's brother Dave (in blue) works at a golf club and so Brian got to go golfing a couple of times and Marcus got to go too! He was so excited to go golfing with Dad and each time he would swing then Marcus would shout out..."nice hit Dad!" He sure loves his Dad!

We were also able to go and enjoy the beautiful Logan Canyon. We love the mountains so much and sure miss them. We really had such a wonderful time with our families and are going to miss them. Thanks so much for letting us come! We sure love you all!
