Maryn!

This past week has been wonderful! Brian's sister Maryn came to visit us. We sure love it when family comes to visit, it is a total vacation for our family. Marcus and Tyson even sensed the vacation feeling and slept in almost the whole time she was here - once until 10:00!! They realized how much they needed their sleep to keep up with their fun aunt, they sure love her. We went to Como Zoo and this picture is of Maryn and Marcus at the Monkeys.

Here is Marcus having his first snow cone. I am glad we got a picture of it because he really didn't get to enjoy most of it. I sadly dropped the whole thing just after we bought it. It wasn't a fresh one though, it was hard as a rock and Marcus couldn't really even bite into it - I have to say that so I don't feel as bad.

We went to Como Town and last time Marcus didn't like the swings all that much in fact he kept saying over and over "I very don't like it." This time after they got started, he yelled down at me, "Mom, I'm not crying! I like it!" I think that he suprised himself.

Here are just some really good looking boys! I think they look a little alike. What do you think?

Maryn and Marcus!

We went to story-time at the Library one morning and got a bunch of books. The boys sure liked reading with Maryn.

Enjoyed some good Otter Pops!

We also went to The Mall of America and I didn't get any pictures of that but Marcus and Tyson were able to meet Pablo!! Marcus was sure excited to meet him, he just kept hugging him. In the mall we spotted Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and had to get some caramel apples which we took to Minnehaha Falls and enjoyed them on a bicycle built for five. If you haven't gotten caramel apples from there you really are missing out, they are sooo good.

At Minnehaha Falls they have these fun bikes and since we were on vacation we couldn't leave without renting one of them. They are so much fun but then again I wasn't the one that was peddling. :0)! The boys thought that it was really great, and were excited to wear helmets...at least Marcus was. It was so much fun to have Maryn come. We are going to miss her...oh wait we already do! Just after we dropped her off Marcus was already saying..."I want Maryn." We love you Mar, thanks again for coming!

How fun to have a visitor! It sounds like you had a great time together. I would have loved to join you for caramel apples . . . they're my favorite!
