A New Hero

So I got a little behind on blogging.
A lot has been happening over the last several months
such as...
William and Sophia getting blessed.

Richard and Brooke getting married

My boys getting dressed up.

Okay, I got dressed up too.

We enjoyed some fall colors and cooking in Logan Canyon.

Halloween came,

and brought with it several superheroes.

But the biggest hero came a couple days later. November 2nd to be exact.
Who is he?
Landon Richard Lee.
Came in weighing 5lb 5oz.
He was six weeks early.

So he had to stay at the hospital for two weeks.

Where visitors had to view him from his little box.

But some couldn't even do that,

so it was wonderful to get him home!

We think he wanted to come early for Thanksgiving.

So we could have some fun visitors

and eat some turkeys together.

Maybe it was so we could get this newlywed couple to come to our home for the Holiday.

Whatever the reason, we are so thankful he is here and are so happy to welcome another little hero to our family. Also, thanks to all of our heroes who came multiple times and saved many days - we love you all so much.

Grandma Jean

This past weekend was with this pretty lady. She is Brian's Grandma and we even got to spend the night at her home. Every year she gathers the family together to celebrate her husbands birthday. Grandpa Clair has been gone for the past 10 years, but has really left a great legacy. I never had the opportunity to meet him but I know that he was a wonderful man from all of the great stories Brian has told me about. He also told Brian he was his favorite Grandchild and that in and of itself makes him great!

The boys slept on her pull-out bed

and played with all her awesome toys.

Brian has so many memories of this wonderful home, and I was so excited that we were able to have our boys spend some time with Grandma Jean. She is an amazing lady and is always doing everything for everyone else.  Love you Grandma Jean!

McCall

Marcus finished his first week of school and we decided our family needed a weekend getaway trip to McCall. Doesn't everyone need a break after that? Not really, Marcus is doing great and loves it. He actually loves that he was one of the reasons we had to get back... he had to go to school. One of Brian's friends at work let us use their condo and we took full advantage. We tried not to do too much and just...
lay back and relax,
and look cool doing it.
Okay not all of us did that, Marcus swam the whole time we were were at the pool. He was loving the pool and practiced swimming back and forth with his lifejacket on. He is really getting to be such a great "life-jacket" swimmer...he does pull off the looking cool part pretty well too.
Tanner also really enjoyed the water, and we enjoyed his long post swimming nap. After that we went to dinner and
the beach. The boys favorite place to be. We then walked around and enjoyed the little town of McCall.
Yes, I was there too and Brian didn't let me escape this photo opp. It was a beautiful day.
We ended our trip with our family favorite dessert...caramel apples. It just doesn't seem right to be on vacation and not get one. I love being a mom of four boys!
Well, five boys if you include this caramel-apple-loving kid!

Summing Up Summer

We have had a great summer and I know you are all just dying to find out just what the Lee's have been up to. So here you go...
First things first.
We are adding yet another Lee boy to our family. He is due Dec. 13. We are thrilled to have a full basketball team and can't wait for this little boy to get here.
Marcus has learned how to ride a bike.
Tanner is crawling around everywhere, (translation he is getting into anything and everything)

We kept up the tradition of going to Island Park with the Westons.
Went camping ourselves
and with the Lee's
Had wonderful visitors
Went to splash parks.
Tanner had a birthday and turned one. He also acquired some new teeth...six to be exact.
(I love his toothy grin)
To top off the summer we went to Cascade Reservoir where these boys could have played all week.
Now Summer is officially over. This boy started Kindergarten.
I am proud to say he is doing GREAT! As for me, that is a different story. Remind me - this is a good thing, right?
Tyson is going crazy without his best friend in the morning.
He is so glad that it is only half day.
Today Carter turned 3. All my boys are growing up, but we enjoy every moment.
