The Scurvy Pirates!

Today during the break of conference, Marcus' friend Maylie had a Princess and Pirate birthday party. Marcus was really excited to go and he had a great time. He even went all by himself. It was a little hard on me, he is really growing up!
After the party then Tyson wanted in the the fun. Marcus was sure good to share his stuff...even the candy!

TRUCKS!

At our apartments there has been a lot of big projects going on outside and Marcus and Tyson have loved it!! There are always big trucks or "diggers" like this one going around just outside our apartment. They get mesmerized sometimes, it is pretty funny. Here is Tyson playing with a big dump truck. When we are outside, he sometimes gets a little scared of the loud noise, (he's hiding from the big truck) but when we are inside and he hears a truck coming he runs to the window shouting "truck."
Here's Marcus! He likes to pretend to be a construction worker like my brothers and is always good to say hello to the construction workers here!

Lakes of Minnesota

Since Minneapolis is the City of Lakes, we take every opportunity to visit the many nearby lakes. The boys love the change of scenery and we love the walks. We have also started a new game as we are driving in the car. Every time we go under an overpass (or tunnel as Marcus calls them), we hold our breath. It is pretty hard since we are under them for a whole second sometimes. The boys think it is hilarious as we exaggerate our gasps for air.

"What is so funny?"

One Month Old!

It is crazy how quickly they grow! Carter is already one month old! It really still feels like I just had Marcus and now when I look at Marcus, and Tyson and see how they can walk, talk, and make me laugh, I realize that time just flies by! Children really are the best things in the world and I am the luckiest person in the world. Heavenly Father sure has blessed me with the best little boys. Carter is finally getting some meat on him and I am loving it! I tried to get all the boys together in their fun sport shirts but it didn't really work out like I had hoped.Since I was taking all of these pictures of Carter, Marcus was dying to take some. It is pretty funny when he takes them, he doesn't quite know how to look through the camera so he just puts his face up to the camera and shoots. I was impressed that he actually got us in this one.

Lincoln Cruz Bostock!

My twin sister Jill had her baby, Lincoln Cruz Bostock on September 17, he weighed 7lb 15oz, and was 20 inches long. He was in the NICU but not for long and is now doing great! He sure is a lucky little tike to be born into their family! It was also so much fun being pregnant at the same time as Jill, what is even more fun is that they were both actually due only one day apart. We were both hoping to have them on the same day so that it would be like they were twins, but I still think that it is fun that there names go together like they could be twins. He is going to go by Cruz. Carter and Cruz just sounds so good! I sure love you Jill and Drew. Congratulations on such a beautiful baby.

S T R E T C H!

Today has been wonderful. Brian and I finally braved church with our three little boys. They all did so good. Marcus and Tyson both went to Nursery...that was the best! Carter was passed quite a lot between Brian and I but it worked out alright. When we got home from church we went and took a nice walk around Lake Calhoun. It was beautiful! Marcus and Tyson had so much fun together I think finally realized that they could talk and play with eachother in the stroller, they were talking, laughing, and tickling each other it sure made us happy. Well after then Brian was stretching a little and both of them thought "I need to do that too." It was so fun to watch, they just really love their Dad (who wouldn't? :0))

Bunk Beds!

This past weekend we wanted to figure out a way to fit all of the boys in the same room but thought that a bunk bed was just too high - even for stripling Marcus. Dad took Marcus to Ikea knowing that those brilliant Swedes must have designed something that would work and they found this four footer loft bed. We decided to put Marc's toddler bed underneath and create our own bunk beds! So far it has worked wonderfully. Tyson hasn't wandered off his toddler bed yet and is so excited to be in a big boy bed not to mention how thrilled Marcus is to be on a bunk bed.
Tyson really likes to climb up to be with Marcus, it is really fun as Tyson giggles up each step. When it is time to sleep, he has been really good (so far) to stay in his own bed - even for naps!

We haven't put Carter in his crib yet but when he is sleeping through the night a little better we will have him sleep with his big brothers. We are so proud of our little boys! Way to go Marc and Ty!!
