Each year my family goes to Island Park in Idaho. We haven't been able to go for the past couple of years but since we live a little closer we got to go. Well most of us did, Brian had his orientation for his job that week so I just took the kids. He was so sad to miss out on Island Park again! My whole family helped out A LOT! Thanks guys! MEXICO!!

After Mark and Jeana's Wedding we moved into our new townhouse in Idaho and then took the kids back to our parents and went off to Mexico. We have now been married 5 years and we really had such a great time, and so did the kids, thanks Grandpa's and Grandma's! Here's a little of what we did:
We stayed in a hotel like this.Saw beautiful flowers like this. Were welcomed back to our room with towels set up various ways, this was my favorite. Played on the beach.Went to a cenote (underwater cave, where we snorkeled),
And enjoyed each other the whole time! It is so wonderful to be married to you Bri, thanks for taking me!

Goodbye Mexico! Hopefully it won't be too long before we see you again!

Leaving Minnesota

Graduation Dinner

The boys with Grandpa Tom and Grandma Kathie Graduated!
We are so sad to be leaving Minnesota. We have now graduated (so proud of you Bri!) and are moving our way to Boise. We have made such good friends...what am I saying we have made the BEST of friends. We are really going to miss you all! We made the long trek home but didn't do it without a little sight seeing. We wanted to make it a little family vacation. We first stopped at Mount Rushmore.

It is AWESOME! Brian and I enjoyed it far more than the boys but they were sure happy to get out!

We asked someone to take our picture for us and they didn't even get Mount Rushmore in it, at least the flags look pretty cool. Than we did a lot more driving, but it wasn't all that bad we played a little peek-a-boo. That can even get 3 year olds to smile. We also sang to some great music...thanks Kara the boys loved that CD.

Carter sure loves his brothers, they can do anything and it can crack him up!

We then went through Yellowstone it is so beautiful! We stopped at Old Faithful. The boys really liked Old Faithful, Tyson forgot what it was called and when I asked him he ended up saying Old Paint. It was pretty fun. We are now in Utah more to come...

Coolin' Off

Who would have thought a cooler could be so fun! I had an Enrichment activity this week and brought bake potatoes in this cooler. The next morning after I cleaned it the boys had some fun.Tyson could fit into the cooler perfectly! It was pretty impressive on how he managed to fit. After Marcus would "find" him he would jump up and they would both start laughing!Marcus was pretty funny too. He really thought that he couldn't be seen.
He'll have to work on it a bit more I guess.

Carter also got in, he fit fine...we didn't let him hide though.

Easter

Yesterday was such a great day. I got to hang out with these three little guys, and eat a whole lot of candy. You just can't go wrong there. We hid their baskets late the night before and when they woke us up too early we just sent them downstairs to do a little searching. I didn't last long though, I wanted to see their faces when they saw all of the candy. It really was so much fun. I don't think that Tyson has ever seen that much candy, he held his basket everywhere he went.
Here's Marcus and Carter. I think they really look quite a bit alike. What do you think?
We also did a little egg "painting" (as Marcus calls it) and had some fun stickers to go on them as well. We ended the evening with a little egg hunt. It sure is crazy to see these kids faces when they find an egg all by themselves.
