Leaving Minnesota
The boys with Grandpa Tom and Grandma Kathie
Graduated!
We asked someone to take our picture for us and they didn't even get Mount Rushmore in it, at least the flags look pretty cool.
Than we did a lot more driving, but it wasn't all that bad we played a little peek-a-boo. That can even get 3 year olds to smile.
We also sang to some great music...thanks Kara the boys loved that CD.
We are so sad to be leaving Minnesota. We have now graduated (so proud of you Bri!) and are moving our way to Boise. We have made such good friends...what am I saying we have made the BEST of friends. We are really going to miss you all! We made the long trek home but didn't do it without a little sight seeing. We wanted to make it a little family vacation. We first stopped at Mount Rushmore.
It is AWESOME! Brian and I enjoyed it far more than the boys but they were sure happy to get out!
Carter sure loves his brothers, they can do anything and it can crack him up!
We then went through Yellowstone it is so beautiful! We stopped at Old Faithful. The boys really liked Old Faithful, Tyson forgot what it was called and when I asked him he ended up saying Old Paint. It was pretty fun. We are now in Utah more to come...

Coolin' Off
Who would have thought a cooler could be so fun! I had an Enrichment activity this week and brought bake potatoes in this cooler. The next morning after I cleaned it the boys had some fun.
Tyson could fit into the cooler perfectly!
It was pretty impressive on how he managed to fit.
After Marcus would "find" him he would jump up and they would both start laughing!
Marcus was pretty funny too. He really thought that he couldn't be seen.
He'll have to work on it a bit more I guess.

After Marcus would "find" him he would jump up and they would both start laughing!Carter also got in, he fit fine...we didn't let him hide though.

Easter
Yesterday was such a great day. I got to hang out with these three little guys, and eat a whole lot of candy. You just can't go wrong there. We hid their baskets late the night before and when they woke us up too early we just sent them downstairs to do a little searching. I didn't last long though, I wanted to see their faces when they saw all of the candy. It really was so much fun.
I don't think that Tyson has ever seen that much candy, he held his basket everywhere he went.Sunday, March 8, 2009
TWENTY-SEVEN!!
He is now 27 years old as of March 4. Since he wasn't home on his birthday (he was in Nevada...remember?) we didn't celebrate it until Friday. Marcus and Tyson did however sing to him multiple times on his birthday. I guess it is quite a catchy song. On Friday we went to the outlets and did a little shopping for the birthday boy. We were there all afternoon and really had a great time.
We did a whole lot of this.
A little of this.
And some of this.
But most of the time, they were like this. I made them hold hands and they could go wherever they wanted. I followed closely behind and it was actually pretty entertaining. They would look at each other, laugh, run, and fall over because they would be trying to go opposite directions, then laugh again.
But at the end of all the shopping we were all like this. Tired, but still happy!Tuesday, March 3, 2009
I Did it Lora!!
This morning I was feeling a little brave and decided to cut the boys hair...all by myself. I am not the one that normally does the cutting in this family, but it was really getting a little too long. They both did so good. Okay truth be told, Tyson did a lot better then Marcus. He is the brave one of two, and Marcus made him go first. It is funny how backwards it is, but I am still proud at how well they both did. I know it isn't as good as yours Lora and definitely not as fun as when you cut it, but it is done. (I didn't cut Carter's hair, he REALLY doesn't need it! I just couldn't leave him out of the picture.)

This morning after the boys bath Marcus made up this little song. Brian left us yesterday for a conference in Las Vegas...we already miss you Daddy!
