Tyson's New Trick!

Tyson is much more daring then Marcus was when he was his age. He has already started going down the slide by himself!! He will climb up the stairs and turn his cute little body around and push himself down while I catch him at the bottom. I guess since Marcus isn't scared to do it then he figures he can do it too. He has the cutest smile at the bottom of the slide, I have yet to catch it on camera but I hope to soon.

Getting Ready For Bed

Each night it is the normal routine... get pajama's on, brush teeth, say prayers... but when Daddy is home it is a whole different ball game! This is just a small clip of what life is like when Daddy is home "helping" get the boys ready for bed. I was really impressed with how well Marcus was catching the ball, and each time he didn't he would say "oh, bad throw." Marcus really loves his Dad!

Melting Snowman!

Today we went to playgroup at Kara's. She had such fun activities for the kids. I was way impressed! The first activity was the cute melting snowman, as you can see Marcus loved it!

The second project was a popcorn tree. I think Marcus liked eating the popcorn more than making the tree but he still created some beautiful branches, I was way proud! The last activity was "digging for bugs." The kids dug through chocolate cake crumbled up as dirt (cool whip on top) and underneath there was a bug. Marcus got a grasshopper and thought it was pretty cool but once again liked eating the cake more. Marcus usually could care less about food but he sure loved it today. Tyson had a great time playing with Will's toys. Thanks Kara, they really had a great time!

I'll Show you Ty!

Marcus and Tyson are such good brothers and I think that Tyson is learning so much from Marcus. Tyson is getting pretty good at shooting hoops but I think it is only because of his good big brother Marcus showing the way. Tyson is always wanting to know just what Marcus is doing and then trying to do it himself, it really is so fun to watch them together!

As you can see he hasn't quite got the right hand motion like Marcus but I am sure he will pick up on that soon too!

Just a Little News!

Number 3 is on the way! We are expecting September 18! We are so excited! Marcus is really cute about it too. When we ask him what is in Mom's tummy he quickly replies "a baby" and each time we ask him if it is a boy or a girl, he gets this cute little smile and says "just a baby!" Tyson doesn't quite know what is going on, but I am sure he is wondering why I am getting a little rounder. Little does he know that I am cookin' up a fun little playmate!

Minnesota Zoo!

It is Brian's Spring Break and even though he hasn't really had a break, he took the day off to go to the Zoo! It was so much fun and the boys really enjoyed it. I think that our favorite part was the dolphins. They were so fun to watch! They're training new dolphins right now so there wasn't an official show but we did get to see them jump around and go after balls. Marcus also loved the Bird Show. They had the birds fly all around and some even went right over Marcus' head!! Ya, he really loved that. It was even nice enough that we got to walk around outside! It sure isn't now though...we have about 4 inches of new snow. We were sure glad that we got to get out while the weather was at least in the 40's!

One, Two, Three...

Here is Marcus counting the steps in our apartment building. He is really getting good at counting, he can now count up to 13 and then he just throws out random numbers. I am sorry about the lighting and the camera work which are both terrible but the star in the video makes up for it.
