When you need to get the boys out of the house so Mom and baby can sleep, is there anything better than the Minnesota State Fair? These faces don't show the absolute thrill that comes with an entire barn full of swine, cows the size of Suburbans, and live animal births at any moment, but it truly is a little boy's wonderland.
We didn't think it was a good idea to bring our newborn to the fair, but these little guys were only about five hours old and they didn't seem to be having any problems there.
It was probably a good thing that Mom stayed home because I am pretty sure she wouldn't have thought hot dogs, french fries, Icees, a bucket of cookies, and bottomless chocolate milk made for a well-rounded dinner.

That sounds like it was a ton of fun!! I'm glad you were able to stay home with Carter and sleep.
Good idea on staying home. =) Carter is a handsome little guy. Joni, you look fantastic and beautiful. I never look good after birth. Congratulations! We're so glad he's healthy and that there were no complications.
