Grandma Zoe!

This past week has been wonderful and that is all due to my wonderful Mother. She came out to be with me and help me get things under a little control (can you do that with three?). She was so much help and Marcus, Tyson and Carter sure do love her. I didn't get many pictures but we sure love you mom and are so grateful that you were able to come out and be with us when we needed you most!

Here are Marcus and Tyson saying goodbye to Grandma, they sure didn't want her to go. When we were dropping her off at the airport then Marcus just kept saying "Grandma, don't go" it was so sweet. Thanks so much for coming Mom!

Minnesota State Fair!

When you need to get the boys out of the house so Mom and baby can sleep, is there anything better than the Minnesota State Fair? These faces don't show the absolute thrill that comes with an entire barn full of swine, cows the size of Suburbans, and live animal births at any moment, but it truly is a little boy's wonderland.
We didn't think it was a good idea to bring our newborn to the fair, but these little guys were only about five hours old and they didn't seem to be having any problems there.
It was probably a good thing that Mom stayed home because I am pretty sure she wouldn't have thought hot dogs, french fries, Icees, a bucket of cookies, and bottomless chocolate milk made for a well-rounded dinner.

This past weekend has been wonderful! We had our sweet healthy little boy. He decided to come early which I am very glad about especially since there are no complications. Everything went well and we are proud to say that he is perfect. No really he is, he got a 10 on his apgar score which means we have a perfect little boy. We are definitely the proudest parents ever. It is crazy he has blond hair! Both Marcus and Tyson had really dark hair so we thought that we would have all dark haired children. I guess we were wrong! Marcus and Tyson were able to come and visit Carter and me at the hospital. We definitely have the best ward ever. They took such good care of Marcus and Tyson while I was in the hospital. Thanks so much everyone!

Cabin Trip!

This past week has been so much fun. Our friends invited us to go to their cabin in Wisconsin and we had a blast! Marcus and Tyson love being outdoors and would live out there if they could. The Cabin was right on a beautiful lake with kayaks and a water trampoline. I didn't get any pictures of all of us on the kayaks but we all went out one evening and it was beautiful. The water was like glass and the boys just loved reaching there hands into the lake. It was just as the song goes....merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily life is but a dream. Here is Tyson lookin' cool in his new sunglasses. We had to make sure they had the necessities for a lake trip.

A great firepit provided the perfect setting for hot dogs and smores, and of course boulders for Tyson the mountain climber.

We went to a beach called Crystal Lake. It was so beautiful. The water was so clear and the boys had a lot of fun. Here is Marcus pushing Tyson around the water in his little boat. They really are such good brothers!
We also went to a fun park so the kids could play. Marcus and Tyson loved the see-saw!

I guess it always helps whenever Daddy is doing anything with them...they love it no matter what.

Here they are taking a fun ride on the tire swing!At the playground they had this really fine dirt that the boys loved to play in. They were able to really be boys and get really good and dirty. They are boys alright!

We decided before we let them go back into the cabin they better clean off a little. They sure didn't mind taking a dip in the lake. A couple of nights some people did a midnight swim. Here are the men being who? None other then Michael Phelps!! :0)! We sure had a great time.

Smart Boys!

The other day we were getting ready to go to the pool and Tyson got into some of Daddy's stuff, one of which were his glasses! These boys are always trying to be just like Dad. I went over to take them from him and he quickly put them on upside down and looked so cute. I helped him figure out how to really put them on and got a picture but I think that it was even cuter how he put them on.
Marcus wanted in on the fun too and sure didn't mind posing for me.

Baseball Boys!

This week has been pretty good. Marcus' imagination is growing and lately he has been wanting to play inside instead of going out to play at the playground. I know I was pretty shocked about it too. It is so fun watching his imagination just take off and he can now entertain himself really well. Tyson will normally try to do the same thing as Marcus but at a safe distance. If he gets too close then Marcus thinks that Tyson is trying to take his toys...or maybe he really is trying to take his toys. This morning they wanted to be baseball players. Marcus, who of course had to have his baseball cap, was teaching Tyson how to play baseball. It was great they would take turns hitting the ball (or at least trying to) and being the catcher. They really are such good brothers.

Swimming boys!

Today we went to a pool party. They had two fun little pools and then a huge slide for big kids. Marcus and Tyson both had a lot of fun. Marcus is sure glad that his friend Anthony is back from his vacation. They both play together so well.

Here's Marcus and Anthony walking home together. Anthony asked Marcus if he could walk home with him and Marcus stretched out his hand for Anthony to hold. They ran all the way home, they really are so fun to watch!
