Coolin' Off

Who would have thought a cooler could be so fun! I had an Enrichment activity this week and brought bake potatoes in this cooler. The next morning after I cleaned it the boys had some fun.Tyson could fit into the cooler perfectly! It was pretty impressive on how he managed to fit. After Marcus would "find" him he would jump up and they would both start laughing!Marcus was pretty funny too. He really thought that he couldn't be seen.
He'll have to work on it a bit more I guess.

Carter also got in, he fit fine...we didn't let him hide though.

Easter

Yesterday was such a great day. I got to hang out with these three little guys, and eat a whole lot of candy. You just can't go wrong there. We hid their baskets late the night before and when they woke us up too early we just sent them downstairs to do a little searching. I didn't last long though, I wanted to see their faces when they saw all of the candy. It really was so much fun. I don't think that Tyson has ever seen that much candy, he held his basket everywhere he went.
Here's Marcus and Carter. I think they really look quite a bit alike. What do you think?
We also did a little egg "painting" (as Marcus calls it) and had some fun stickers to go on them as well. We ended the evening with a little egg hunt. It sure is crazy to see these kids faces when they find an egg all by themselves.

TWENTY-SEVEN!!

He is now 27 years old as of March 4. Since he wasn't home on his birthday (he was in Nevada...remember?) we didn't celebrate it until Friday. Marcus and Tyson did however sing to him multiple times on his birthday. I guess it is quite a catchy song. On Friday we went to the outlets and did a little shopping for the birthday boy. We were there all afternoon and really had a great time.
We did a whole lot of this.A little of this. And some of this. But most of the time, they were like this. I made them hold hands and they could go wherever they wanted. I followed closely behind and it was actually pretty entertaining. They would look at each other, laugh, run, and fall over because they would be trying to go opposite directions, then laugh again. But at the end of all the shopping we were all like this. Tired, but still happy! The boys sang "Happy Birthday" one last time, blew out the candles, devoured the cake and ice cream and went to bed. I love the look on Tyson's face in these picture - so focused. Singing Happy Birthday takes some concentration for a two year old! Well Happy Birthday Daddy we sure love you!

I Did it Lora!!

This morning I was feeling a little brave and decided to cut the boys hair...all by myself. I am not the one that normally does the cutting in this family, but it was really getting a little too long. They both did so good. Okay truth be told, Tyson did a lot better then Marcus. He is the brave one of two, and Marcus made him go first. It is funny how backwards it is, but I am still proud at how well they both did. I know it isn't as good as yours Lora and definitely not as fun as when you cut it, but it is done. (I didn't cut Carter's hair, he REALLY doesn't need it! I just couldn't leave him out of the picture.)

This morning after the boys bath Marcus made up this little song. Brian left us yesterday for a conference in Las Vegas...we already miss you Daddy!

"The Sky Bears had a Pillow Fight!"

It snowed last night! Marcus and Tyson were so excited. It wasn't even the yucky slushy stuff either it was what I call "Utah snow" good and fluffy!! The boys were so excited to go out and play. Here they are all ready for it!

It was really fun at the playground because they had their snow suits on and it made them slide fast down the slide...Marcus LOVED it! Tyson actually perfered to eat the snow instead...Daddy was good to stay in and watch this cute little man. Daddy got him really laughing...not a surprise since he can always get any of the boys to laugh.

Suckers, Tooth, and Laundry

Today has been such a great day. We went to our ward playgroup which was a Valentine party. The boys were so excited to go. Tyson kept telling me that he wanted to go to the party and each time I thought he was saying "potty". I guess I am still in the potty training mode. While they were there they made these fun little hearts, played with kids in our ward, ate some good snacks, but the best part was they got these suckers. I told Marcus that he couldn't get one until it was time to go...he was then ready to go home. He loves suckers, can you tell? We also found a TOOTH!! Yesterday it broke through. He is such a good little guy the only thing that he has been doing is drooling...a lot!

We also did our laundry today and while I was folding, Marcus and Tyson had SO much fun with this basket full of clothes -it was their "bed". They really are the cutest brothers ever.
